3 Step Recognition of Prior Learning 

Holding a Certificate of Registration for an agent's entire career will no longer be an option. All Certificate holders will need to complete a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) (CPP40307) and transition to a Real Estate Licence within a defined time-frame. If they don’t, they will be excluded from the industry for a period of 12 months. 

As assistant agents, they'll no longer be able to bind the agency. This means they are unable to sign managing agency agreements or sales agreements. They’ll also be unable to authorise payments from trust accounts. 

In three straightforward steps, they can have their industry experience recognised and complete gap training as required to obtain a Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

Eligibility

• Certificate of Registration Holders with 12 months or more experience in the industry can go through a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process for the Certificate IV course (Licence). 
  
  
• If your employees would like to complete the Certificate IV RPL via a group session it is 3 full days of training at the workplace. The cost per person is $1500 (includes a saving of up to $300 per person) plus trainer flights if applicable. 
  
  
• Please note the minimum participant requirements for this option is 5 people.
